Drove implementation of operational excellence and new go-to-market strategy.

Toyota Manufacturing - Production Control Specialist

• Managed engine parts scheduling and logistics from European suppliers. Reduced stock on hand from 5.5 days to 1.8 days, accomplishing this in a twelve-month period. Worked with Purchasing on supplier development program.
• Responsible for setup of all JIT material management processes on "green field" site. Planned and standardized all operational procedures.
• Assessed potential suppliers and selected new suppliers, advising them on company requirements. Introduced "Kanban" system for parts delivery. Designed and implemented new IT control system for tools.
• Spent time with Toyota in Japan at 3 plants being trained on TPS and specific inventory management techniques.
